‘My best memory was everyone on the dancefloor with the Sax under the fairy lights. Everyone was dancing & hugging & picking each other up and just celebrating the day we’d all shared together.’
We were originally looking at beach weddings in Rhodes but after viewing a beach venue we decided against it & wanted something that was by the sea but more elegant which is basically the whole of Santorini, it was actually my Fiancé that picked Le Ciel.
We always wanted a small wedding with only immediate family & close friends, we invited 33 people and 26 people attended.
My dress was called Handi by Calla Blanche and I found it in the first shop I visited
My shoes were The Padlock from Tom Ford, my earrings were from Lace & Favour and my bracelet was actually a gift from my Bridesmaids.
Ryan purchased his suit as well as the groomsmen’s from Slaters, no chance of him ever being casual even when it’s 30 degrees haha!
The Bridesmaid dresses were champagne & they were handmaid by Bridesmaid By JB
I wanted something that was timeless and never looks outdated even when looking back on the wedding in years to come which is why I chose white & gold as the colour theme & the flowers as roses & gypsofilia. Flowers were always something that was going to be important to me throughout planning the wedding.

For me with Santorini, it has to be the sunsets. Myself and Ryan have visited many places & always chased sunsets but there’s just something magical about the Santorini sunsets. Every person at the wedding was amazed with that sunset. The lead up to the wedding is also more chilled because everyone is just on their holidays & they have no stress of home life. A UK wedding was never in my mind, it was always going to be in the sun by the sea.
To use The Bridal Consultant haha! I don’t think I stressed once, the way Lisa helps you plan the wedding makes it easy & fun, with each step she gave us we would just have a date night at home and get everything together that she needed. We asked some right random questions but she always had the answer.
