‘Our Santorini wedding was magical, thanks to Lisa & her amazing team. Lisa was excellent throughout the whole process of planning our wedding. Her attention to detail, great advice, fast response and help with the legal side of documents was just amazing. Planning a wedding abroad was made easy thanks to Lisa! Our day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have wished for it to go any better. Lisa, thank you so much for all of your help and advice along the way! I would highly recommend The Bridal Consultant for a stress free way of planning your abroad wedding’

Pete proposed when we were in Greece back in September 2022. We both always loved the idea of a destination wedding, especially Greece as we like to visit a different Greek Island every year. We chose Santorini for numerous reasons but mostly for the weather and the beautiful view from the wedding venue. Santorini Gem was perfect for us as the ceremony and reception was all in one location. We loved that the outdoor space was all white, modern but also flat grounds as my Grandparents who are in their 80’s attended our big day.
We invited 40 guests, 8 of them weren’t able to attend! In total on the wedding day there was 32 of us, a perfect number for a destination wedding!
I bought my dress from a boutique in Surrey! The brand was ‘Enzoani’. This was my dream dress, I actually had a photo saved of it on my phone 6 months prior to attending an appointment at the bridal boutique. It was the first dress shop I went to, the 3rd dress I tried on and I knew as soon as I had it on that it was the one for me.
I ordered my wedding shoes online from Lace & Favour, they were by ‘Perfect Bridal’ and were satin block heels with pearls across the toes! My wedding day necklace, earrings and bracelet were all from Swarovski. My veil was my something borrowed from my best friend!
Pete purchased his DKNY suit from Moss Bros, they also did alterations in store.
I only had one Bridesmaid on my wedding day, I ordered her dress online from ‘Dressmezee’. It was a light pink glitter gown with a split on the left leg. Looked beautiful in the sunlight!
I always knew I wanted to incorporate light pink & white into the wedding decor! As everything at Santorini Gem is mostly white, it was lovely to have a pop of pink within the flowers and decor!
The only decorative items which we bought from home was our wedding guest book and table numbers! (I also had place names, wedding favours and confetti bags!) All which were easy to transport as I added an extra suitcase onto my booking to allow for any additional luggage for the wedding day.
Having photos on the terrace during sunset hour! Being able to take a few minutes out just the two of us and taking in the views was just incredible.
Having all of your family and friends with you the week prior to the wedding day. It’s so lovely that you get to make a week of celebrations rather than just one day.
Don’t stress about the small details! I was guilty of this, however on the wedding day everything was just PERFECT and we couldn’t have wished for anything more.
