Crete was one of the first holiday destinations we went to as a couple and we love it there! We’ve since been back a few times and it was in 2024 from a sun-lounger that we found our wedding venue just a few minutes away from our hotel. One year later to the day, we got married there.
We invited about 33 guests to the wedding originally and 28 attended.
My dress was called ‘Camden’ from Tiffany’s. It took me a few months to find the one but I went to a few different stores and tried on lots of different styles. It was a lot of fun!
My shoes were from Lace and Favour. I also got some jewellery from Carrie Elizabeth Jewellery and hair flowers from Etsy.
The grooms suit was purchased from Charles & Tyrwitt and his shoes were from Joseph Cheaney
I had two bridesmaids, one wore a silver dress and one wore a matching silver jumpsuit. They were purchased from Coast.
We had a pastel colour theme which we thought would really suit the all outdoor wedding venue. Our guests also all wore pastel colours and everyone looked amazing! All the flowers also matched and there were peonies included in my bouquet which are my favourite flower!
There are so many amazing memories from the day. We particular enjoyed the speeches and everyone eating dinner together at sun set.
It was an amazing opportunity for our friends and family to all meet each other before the wedding day. A lot of our guests all stayed in the same hotel and we also had a welcome dinner the night before the wedding. It really added to the emotion of the wedding day and everyone got to enjoy an amazing holiday together at the same time.
To use a wedding planner and to not be afraid to ask them lots of questions.
