A special congratulations.
A special congratulations to all the couples that did get married from July onwards. The weddings may have been smaller than initially intended but were still as precious and even MORE special in some ways due to the challenges the couples faced to make sure their weddings happened .
Looking forward to brighter times.
In the last 2 weeks we’ve seen a big increase in new enquiries for 2021 and 2022 (and 2023), Many of these enquiries are for couples that have cancelled plans this year and are now looking for a smaller more intimate wedding abroad next year.
So with this in mind we thought it would be good to share our top 5 picks for intimate weddings abroad – one from each of our locations.
ONE | Dana Villas in Santorini
One of our most popular venues for intimate weddings abroad.
The essence of elegance, Dana Villas sits on the side of the Caldera in small community of Firastefani. The ceremony takes place on a pretty terrace with a handsome gazebo and the most picturesque views. Chairs are set up in ceremony style and the bride makes her entrance through the ornamental gate to her guests, seated church style.
The reception takes place on the infinity pool terrace a few steps down the side of the Caldera, pretty terrace that can sit up to 30 guests over 4 tables with room for dancing. The infinity pool is simply divine when dressed with floating candles.
Favourite thing about this venue: The views
Main consideration: 70 steps too/from location so not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

With views to die for, a setting that would look fitting in the Hollywood hills and a completed tailored wedding to match, we promise you’ll forget about any plans you had previous to this.
Favourite thing about this venue: It’s almost like the villa was built with weddings in mind, it’s so well laid out to make the most of the views and gives so many wonderful options for ceremony and reception set up.
Main consideration: Car hire would be necessary as Keri is away from the main tourist routes.

Sorrento is a beautiful part of the Amalfi Coast, famous for the meters and meter s of lemon vines that drape over the side of the hills in high summer. This unique resort sits on top of a cliff so the views from any vista or just magical and as we’ve come to expect in Italy, the food, the wine and the hospitality are some of the best in the world.
The ancient cloisters sits in the centre of Sorrento and is perfect for intimate weddings, it has an open top terrace where the ceremony takes place, literally meters from the cliff side.
Our hidden terrace is a very short car ride away and sits nestled in one of the best hotels in the area. The terrace is hidden away in a lush setting and one of the features we love is the view, the quirky wooden bar and the lush garden that is perfect for additional couple photos.
Favourite thing about this venue: The terrace’s position on the cliff side the sunsets here are just magical.
Main consideration: Transport would be needed from ceremony to reception as it’s just that bit too far to walk in heels

This is a particularly picturesque part of Rhodes and is perfect for those precious couple shots.
