Dana Villas Wedding in Santorini – Entry 4 – Meet the Bridesmaids
This has been such an enjoyable and smooth experience. I have every little bit of faith that Lisa knows exactly what we want.
It’s been a while since my last blog and a lot of planning for the wedding has taken place and it really feels like it is all coming together now. This is all very exciting and I am really enjoying picking and purchasing all of the nice pretty things. I’m still not really anticipating me getting too stressed out!!! Famous last words.
We have been working with Lisa choosing and finalising most of the details. This has been such an enjoyable and smooth experience. I have every little bit of faith that Lisa knows exactly what we want. We have exchanged pictures of flowers and other details and we are definitely ‘singing from the same hymn sheet!’ We have booked our photographer, chosen our menu and flowers, the make-up artist is booked and we have our draft itinerary. Exciting times!
My bridesmaids are also getting really excited about being involved in the planning. They have already arranged my surprise hen do and have they chosen and tried on their dresses. We plan to go shoe shopping very soon and we will be having a girl’s night in practising hair styles with our lovely friend Ellen who is travelling to Santorini and is fortunately our amazing hairdresser!
My best friend has also booked her flights to santorini from Australia, which is just amazing.
My fiancé will be taking his groomsmen shopping for their suits. Although I won’t be going with him as I trust that he will make the right decision…. she says convincing herself! My stepdad also has his suit and Mother of the Bride has her gorgeous Jenny Packham dress. It really is all coming together!
