Ladies are you ready to get romantic with our Valentines Day Gifts for Him ideas? It’s almost the most romantic time of the year again and we hope you ladies (or gents) waiting for that ‘special’ proposal, don’t have to wait too much longer.
FACT – after Christmas Valentines day is the most popular day for proposals!
As most of our audience are indeed ladies we thought this year our gift guide should be for the men in our life!
I actually had a LOT of fun doing this……currently off to purchase my gift.
Fun and hobby based gifts
Concert tickets
Ok so right now our only trips outside are either for bit of fresh air or to do the food shop but it wont always be like this and having something fun to look forward to is essential when the days are long and the nights feel longer!
So why not support your favourite band or artists and buy tickets for a concert later in the year!
Just check the covid policy before you book for extra peace of mind.
Takeaway and Candlelight
Fed up of cooking? We don’t blame you, I’m longing for the day we can go out and eat again. So for Lockdown Valentines, why not order your favourite take out and dress the table with red love hearts and candles. No hassle for you and I’m sure he’ll love it!
Favourite reads
If your fellas anything like mine, then he’s currently got a pile high of books or magazines on his bed stand. We’ve got plenty of time to read at the moment, so why not buy a collection of books from his favourite author, or some classics he’s always wanted to read or subscribe to his favourite magazine for a gift that keeps on giving.
Grooming Kit
With the sale of men’s beauty products more popular that ever why not treat your fella to some luxury products so he can start a beauty regime that will have him looking ALMOST as good as you on your wedding day.
My partner loves a bubble bath and this luxury bath oil from Penhaligons is his favourite scent…and I love it too! There’s nothing saying you both can’t enjoy his gift!
Be a Sweetie
Join the new cookie craze and treat your fella to a box of goodies, you can order postal brownies with messages, valentines inspired ‘cakesicles’ and cupcakes, even valentine donuts! Or if your fella is more into sweets then order a sweetie hamper with delights that will keep him going for months.
Extravagant Ideas
If you want to splash out this year then here are some ideas he’ll love you for.
Record player
Vinyl has certainly made a comeback in recent years, and I must admit there’s something seriously romantic about playing a record over tapping play on your phone, they also look pretty cute in your living room too.
These days the sound amazing too, especially once connected to your existing sound system or speaker.
Make your gift extra special too buy buying him your favourite song or album to play on Valentines day whilst you enjoy your candlelit takeaway.
This is a great buying guide for budget record players
Drinks
I don’t mean his favourite bottle of tipple, (although I’m sure he’d love that) I’m thinking more a top of the range Coffee Machine (so he can make your morning coffee). Or if he’s into the whole craft brew scene, then how about a home brew kit, it’s something to do whilst we negotiate our way through the rest of lockdown and something to enjoy once it’s ready.
Cost Friendly Ideas
We thought as things may be a bit tight financially right now for some, that we’d include some cost free or very low ideas in our Valentines Day Gift Ideas for him.
Read on for some fun ideas that your boyfriend will seriously treasure.
Love coupons
Ok it’s a bit cheesy, but this could be anything from movie date night to a massage, foot rub or weekend away (once we can). It’s a fun gift that has to be handmade and involves creativity and thought, that in itself will show your fella how much you love him.

Mini photo in a bottle
I love this cute idea, very easy to make but looks seriously impressive, these bottles can be ordered from amazon and you can print a photo from your phone, it looks seriously impressive for how easy it will be to make.

Homemade card
Now I’m a BIG fan of homemade cards, it’s a fun pastime and you really have to think about the content rather than just purchase something off the shelf. You can research inspired love poems, get crafty with some scissors and sequins or if you’re creatively gifted then an illustration or fun drawing. Youtube literally has a video on ‘how to draw’ almost anything. So no shortage of ideas, and I’m pretty sure this will be one card he’ll keep rather than throw out with the recycling.
Valentines Breakfast
The ultimate treat surely? Especially if you’ve got little ones as they can get involved too. Whatever his favourite fancy breakfast is, accompany it with a single red rose, his favourite drink and you’ll be onto a winner of a day.
Whatever you do, try to make it special as this could be your last valentines as boyfriend/girlfriend. Next year you’ll be married EEEEKKK
