Lindos is by far our most requested area for weddings in Rhodes, it’s likely due to the unique and impressive backdrop of the Acropolis against the tradition old town of Lindos. Its selection of hotels vary from family friendly budget hotels to 5 star luxury resorts with all the mod cons you could desire. It is close to wide expansive beaches and traditional towns with roof top terraces, bars and restaurants. All finished off with the wonderful warm Greek charm we Brits love.
As many of your are still in the research phase of your wedding journey I thought it would be helpful to look at some of our most popular Lindos Weddings Venues with accommodation suggestions for those that wish to wed and stay in the same location.
VENUE | Lindos Beach Wedding and Reception
This beach is just outside of Lindos town so ideal if you want an idyllic beach wedding and reception but not too far from the hustle and bustle of town for a lively night out.
Lindos Beach Weddings take place late afternoon, our suggested time is 6pm onwards in high season and 5pm onwards in low season. This way you can be sure it will be cool enough to enjoy the ceremony, guests will be comfortable and the beach although not private will be much quieter at this time of day. It also allows for an easy flow into the reception celebrations which take place just a short walk away.
At your reception expert delicious local cuisine, served up with a side of sunset, you couldn’t ask for a prettier backdrop. Traditional entertainment is a nice touch here and a DJ to dance the night away is a must for anyone wanting to party into the night.
HOTEL | Lindos Memories
The Lindos Memories is the most convenient hotel for this location, you can literally walk a few minutes from your reception to your bridal suite and enjoy all the comforts this modern 5 luxury star hotel has to offer. Perfect for couples too as it’s an Adult Only hotel!
VENUE | Vlycha Beach Wedding and Reception
Similar in set up to our Lindos Beach venue this is another superb stretch of pristine sand that is just so picturesque it’s almost like it was designed for weddings.
The wedding takes place late afternoon on the beach under a beautiful wooden gazebo.
Drinks by the waters edge follow the ceremony before you head just a short stroll to a beautiful tavern which overlooks the beach from its elevated position. Perfect for elegant relaxed dinners and also for livelier parties with a DJ to party into the night.
HOTEL |Lindian Jewell
The hotel we suggest for this venue is the ultra cool and chic Lindian Jewell , it’s very cool interior offers views over Vlycha beach and you can do everything from dine to yoga here. It’s super cool vibe and setting is perfect for a relaxed honeymoon.
VENUE | Seafront Chapel and Hotel Reception
Just outside Lindos Village is our seafront chapel, this elegant chapel is situated beside the sea for romantic traditional weddings. The chapel is part of a 5 star hotel which is contemporary in style and so this venue suits those wanting a more modern yet traditional style wedding in a beautiful Greek setting with dining under the starts.
Weddings can also take place on the beach or beside the hotels jetty, lots of options for those looking for a modern hotel style wedding with a twist of tradition and in a stunning Greek setting.
HOTEL Aqua Grand
This exclusive luxury resort offers rooms with swim up pools, perfect for a romantic honeymoon. Although not compulsory to stay here we certainly recommend this hotel for that ultimate luxury honeymoon experience. I mean the six restaurants and luxury spa are reasons enough.
