As we’re starting to get lots of enquiries from new couples, I thought it would be fun to look at our top 4 Greek Wedding Venues. When you’re at the early stages of planning and in the research phase it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the information out there.
We’re often asked ‘what’s your favourite venue in Greece?’ of course I’ll never tell, because my idea of a perfect venue could be completely different to yours. However saying that, we only ever work with venues that we’d happily marry at and that embody the very high standards and values that our clients have come expect.
Here we’ve shared 4 of our most highly demanded Greek Wedding Venues, so one for each island we work in, Zante – Zakynthos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini.
We’ll give a brief overview of each, and information about
- How many people the venue holds
- What style of wedding the venue lends itself too
- Average cost, but rather than giving prices as we all have different group sizes we’ll use a key, so
- £ = up to 10k
- ££ = 10k to 15k
- £££ = 15k plus.
First we’ll look at Crete.
It may be one of our newest additions but ‘oh my’ has this venue proven popular, perhaps it’s the vast blue skies that surround you, maybe it’s the incredible view, or it could be that the venue is literally a blank canvas which you can use to develop your vision, or could it be that you can’t see another soul for miles so it’s the epitome of privacy.
I think it’s likely to be a mix of all these, this venue is booking up fast for 2022 and we’re so excited to plan our first wedding here.
Guests | from 20 to 200 plus
Wedding Style | Rustic and relaxed or lavish and extravagant

Zakynthos – Zante Cameo Island and Agios Sostis
The only truly private beach in Greece, this gorgeous cove sits off the coast of Laganas and is accessible by a charming wooden bridge (no heels here brides).
Guests wait in the cove area for the bride to make her entrance down the stone steps to her groom at the foot of the cove. For the reception our ‘hottest’ venue right now is Agios Sostis and you can see why when the owners are continually investing in it’s decoration and set up. A huge private section is reserved solely for your wedding including your own private bar.
One of the best things is you can see Cameo Island from your dinner table, how romantic is that?
Guests | from 20 to 200 plus
Wedding Style | Rustic and relaxed, but certainly room for a bit of glitz.
Cost | ££ – 10.000 to 15,000euros
A purpose built luxury wedding venue in Santorini, in the resort known as the ‘honeymooners capital’. Imergliovi is not only beautiful but it’s peaceful and romantic ambience captures you the minute you arrive, the area is flooded with luxury hotel after luxury hotel so here’s where you stay if you really want to treat yourself.
Le Ciel is often booked up at least one year in advance, you can see why when you look at the view, the luxury finishes of the venue that come as standard and the private and exclusive nature of the venue on what is a very small island.
With a renown chef and some of the best hospitality on the island couples leave here reluctantly after having the best wedding experience they could have ever imagined.
